Scope & Content |
Writing about the Atlanta campaign from a camp near Kingston, Georgia, McAdams writes that the army had an engagement at Resaca, but has had only one man killed. No one in McAdams Company was hurt. He tells of chasing the Confederates over 50 miles and being about 55 miles from Atlanta. He says there is no enemy in front and speculates that they may be in Atlanta. |
