Scope & Content |
One letter dated January 5, [1863] (1 page), contains Rear Admiral David Glasgow Farragut's report of his order from his position in the port of New Orleans to stop blockade runners to Tampico, Mexico. The letter is also an inquiry to the Collector of the Port of New Orleans to enlist his cooperation in stopping one given a pass by Farragut if he was found guilty of such "rascality" as changing the amounts of stores he was allowed. |
