|Scope & Content||On March 8, 1863 Union soldier Isaac Miller wrote to his "Dear Sister" from Camp Drake near Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Miller described camp life and the attempted escape of a rebel spy. According to Miller, the spy had served in Sheridan's division and had drawn maps of Union forts. The spy was shot twice after attempting to escape.|
